After waiting since June, 2006 for "Skylark" I'll believe a January, 2009 release when I see it.

You owe us, your fans, at least a dozen new albums for having put us through the holding of our breaths in anticipation of "Skylark's" release.

I love your music. Please don't disappoint me again by announcing the release of your next album prematurely. Nevertheless I'll continue to be your fan.

Are there any plans for you to tour, and if so is the Seattle/Tacoma area on the schedule?

After listening to your stuff I decided to start a Jazz combo. I currently have a band that play pop stuff and jazz standards only during the dinner music but...

I need to be doing the CLASSICS! I'm going to put a add up on craigslist and find the musicians to play JAZZ!!!

Finally! I only hope that this release date holds firm. I originally pre-ordered "Skylark" from Amazon.com in June, 2006 with a projected release date of July, 2006. After several postponements of the release date, I finally was advised by Amazon on October 11, 2007 that they were cancelling my order due to its complete unavailability. Today I re-pre-ordered it. I've been suffering from the drought of Reneé Olstead's music. Please God, make them release it this time.

I've said it before and I will say it again, they don't make em any prettier than this little gal. When God made the epitome of pretty, he definitely was looking at this girl. When you combine that with a vocal ability that can knock the socks off of any body within listening distance, you have not talent, but an event.

Hooray! Today, January 27, 2009, I finally received my copy of "Skylark" for which I've been waiting since June, 2006. After many frustrating delays I had nearly given up that it would ever be released.

I've just finished listening to it and it is OUTSTANDING!!! I heartily recommend that everyone in the world buy it and am immediately telling my friends to get it ASAP.

Now, Reneé, when is your next CD coming out? After teasing your fans with this one you owe us a new album in very short order. And how about touring to promote this album? Be sure to come to the Seattle/Tacoma area.

Also, back in the 70's, The Captain and Tenille (Toni Tenille) did an arrangement of the classic "Since I Fell for You". Renee and David, if you monitor this site, please find it, listen to it and consider doing your own arrangement of it! I would love to hear Renee sing this classic.

listening to Skylark right now. A wonderful followup to the first CD. Still some great american songbook (GAS) songs in it, but also other interesting things. Please Please always keep the GAS in your next CDs. I see you as a 1940's big band singer. :-). Thanks for the Boogie Ride, Anita, er, Renee.. ;-)

I now have the album and it is brilliant. The songs are absolutely beautiful and bluesy. I hope this record goes high on the charts. Thanks, Renee for getting this out and I hope you release more discs in the future. It was well worth the wait!

I loved the last one and have been a huge fan since I first saw you perform on the Today show. Thank you very much for the new album, I do not have it yet but will very shortly. I have been a fan since "Still standing". When I saw the dream sequence episode I fell in love with your voice! I started looking for your first album then. When I found it I wore it out listening to it. I will more than likely do the same with the new album!

I hope you decide to go to K.C. MO for a concert, one of the greatest jazz citys' in this great nation! I believe you will end up in their jazz museum.
